Amazon Tour Connections was founded in 2018 by Aimara, a German-American and Colombian woman who traveled to Puerto Nariño many wonderful years ago. Connections partners with Amazon Tour, Açai Lodge and local communities such as Santa Clara de Tarapoto and San Antonio (Peru), among others. Our main goal is to offer a heart pounding experience to our adventurous travelers and creating moments to reconnect with nature. We strive to keep your carbon footprint low to protect the beautiful rainforest and we absolutely defend fair and timely pay for our local guides, cooks, hotels, restaurants, and everyone else who makes this tour possible for you.
Tarapoto Dolphin Jungle Tour

Tropical Bird & Monkey Expedition

Travel up the great Amazon River at the junction of three nations. Stay at Açaí Lodge, a birdwatcher's haven, and spot vibrant species like the Silver-beaked Tanager and Golden-headed Manakin. Visit Maikuchiga Foundation, a sanctuary for rescued monkeys, and meet charming creatures like the Boqui blanco, Churucos, and Capuchinos up close.
Survival Jungle Camping Tour

Unplug and reconnect with nature on a 2-night jungle immersion. Spend evenings under the stars at a rustic camp in Lake Tarapoto, learning ancient self-sustainable practices passed down through Amazonian generations. Visit the Tarapoto indigenous community and spot wild animals such as dolphins, sloths, and caimans. Learn survival techniques be wholly surrounded by the wild rainforest.
Amacayacu National Park
5 days 4 nights
Embark on a 5-day Amazonian journey! Jump into the jungle's untamed beauty - encounter wild monkeys, sloths, and dolphins. Hike through Amacayacu National Park. Stay with the Witoto community in a hammock the first night and in the Flor de Loto and Açai Eco-lodges for the remainder of your adventure. Explore the jungle by canoe and on foot and experience the vibrant city markets in Leticia and Tabatinga.
